National award-winning independent film maker and actress Nandita Das, who was appointed Chairman of the Association of Film for Children in India in 2009, will be broadcast in the French honor 'Knight of the Order of Arts "on April 15, for his contribution to the development of Indo-French cooperation in the field of cinematography.
The French ambassador Jerome Bonnafont confer distinction on Das. honor conferred on persons who have distinguished themselves in their work in the arts, culture and literature or for their contribution to the influence of art in France and around the world.
Knight of the Order of Arts conferred on Shah Rukh Khan earlier, photographer Raghu Rai, late actor and Bengali writer HabibTanveer Upamanyu Chatterjee.
