Trust the Censor Board to play spoilt sport. The promos of Pia Trivedi’s new show, Dress Circle where she plays an edgy film magazine editor, will be barred from screening if the objectionable portions are not edited.
The Board feels that the promos are too hot and daring. Producer of Dress Circle, Rohit Roy had decided to slot the promos of the show to be screened in theatres.
The Censor Board further said that even if the promos were suitably edited, they will be released only in the theatres running films with ‘A’ certificate.
Our source said, “The promos of the show have Pia wearing a flimsy bikini in the pool and revealing a lot of skin when she is lying on the bed.”
