Abhinayasri paid Rs 5 lakh as penalty to ensure her release in Bangkok
Abhinayasri, an upcoming actress who won prestigious Nandi award in 2006 for her best performance as comedienne in “Paisalo Paramathma”. She won the hearts of the Telugu masses with her dance in ‘Aa Ante Amalapuram’. The song became one of the biggest hits in the industry because of her sizzling moves she got an opportunity in the movie roles and item numbers in Tollywood. Even acted in “SMS’, “Venkat Tho Alivelu”, “Hari Om” and other movies. Moreover, the appearance of Mumaith Khan into the Tollywood deprived her chances and she lost many opportunities in the Telugu film industry. Abhinayasri had no choice left and started doing stage performances.
Lately, it was reported that she was in Bangkok for a stage show and consumed heavy dose of liquor and under its influence, she quarrelled with the organizers and there was a serious verbal duel with the bystanders too. The Bangkok police registered a case against the Abhinayasri and also took her into custody and shifted her to police station. The organisers went to the police station and paid Rs 5 lakh as penalty for her release.
