At the recently held Rajiv Gandhi awards ceremony in Mumbai, Priyanka Chopra was at her uninhibited best when her KAMINEY co-star Shahid Kapur made it for the event to collect his award for the 'Best Actor'.
Says a source who was present at the event, "She was so elated seeing him sitting in there that she just could not hold back her enthusiasm. She actually walked up to him in the midst of a performance and took him by the hand to the stage where the two danced to some of Bollywood's latest tracks. This spectacle was witnessed by the 2000 odd eyes present on the occasion. After insistently denying their affair, all pretence was lost when Priyanka's doting eyes fell on none other then her alleged beau."

At the award show, reel life couple of KAMINEY openly showed there off-screen chemistry. After the great response to their latest film, it has been rumoured that Shahid and Priyanka have been seeing each other and are often spotted at events together. Although, usually they choose to leave and come alone, this unusual display of affection has come as quite a shock to the industry people and fans alike.

Says Sadaa after a pause, "Yes, that would have been good too and wouldn't have been harmful at all. But then look at this way, if these films would have released earlier then I would have been known amongst the audiences to some extent at least. That would have only resulted in increase in expectations of people to see more of me in my subsequent films. That may have come in the way of LOVE KHICHDI where there are other women as well."

11th Mumbai Film Festival is back! Organized by Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI), the 11th edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 5, 2009 in Mumbai, the film capital of India. A Reliance Big Entertainment initiative MMF has the distinction of being the only international film festival in India to be organized by an independent body of practicing film professionals. A five member international jury will include celebrated Hollywood scriptwriter, director and Martin Scorsese's long term collaborator Paul Schrader (script writer for the cult film TAXI DRIVER & co-writer of RAGING BULL amongst others) and eminent Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi (who has been awarded the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival and the Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival for his work)
This year MMF will honour two extremely talented film-makers from India and abroad. Indian Actor-director Shashi Kapoor will receive the Indian lifetime achievement award at the inaugural function of the Festival on October 29, 2009. A selection of his films will be screened on this occasion. Considered as one of the world's greatest living directors Greek film-maker Angelopoulos will be presented the international lifetime achievement award in the closing ceremony of the Festival on November 5, 2009. A retrospective of his films will be organized to salute the maestro. Considered one of the greatest living directors, Angelopoulos has won awards at all major International film festivals.
