He might be called as the struggling star of the Akkineni clan since all the movies that he has starred in have not been able to generate success at the box office and it was only through multi-starrers that his mettle and presence have been felt. He is none other than the tall and lanky Sumanth.

Now, he is all set to appear as a cop (with a funny moustache) in his forthcoming venture 'Vijay IPS' on the 7th of this month but then it is heard that he has not been too happy with the way the whole thing has gone till now. Apparently, the promos have not been upto the mark and there has been no aggressive marketing of the movie.

Incidentally, his last release 'Pourudu' happened to be somewhat okay with its response but this cop flick of his sure looks to be facing the eyes of doom straight. But then this is film industry and anything can happen here so let us hope for the best for Sumanth.

Nagma is Back to tollywood

Nagma forayed into Tollywood in ‘Peddintalludu’ starring opposite Suman. The first initiated by director Sharath paved way for a remarkable career for the actress and then the rest is history. She became the most sought after heroine of Tollywood and enacted beside the most popular heroes of the contemporary time.

Later a grand welcome for the actor was in Bollywood and it moved from there to the Bhojpuri Industry. She left no stones unturned and was also among the top heroines in Kollywood too. Time elapsed considerably before she stepped back into Telugu sharing screen space with NTR in ‘Allari Ramudu’. She played the protagonist’s mother-in-law in the movie directed by B Gopal.
Again it has been years since the actress was last seen in Telugu movies. Now she is making a comeback into the tinseltown. The scoop is she plays the heroine once again opposite Nagababu. Titled ‘Vooriko Tagore’, the movie will be launched shortly.

Venkatesh’s family audiences are rooted to his wholesome entertainers including the recent Chintakayala Ravi. On the same line, this movie bearing a unique title is about to be made on a new plot that captivates the viewers. Interests are ashore about this yet to be started venture already. November 15 is the day that is decided for commencing the production works.

Trisha who was last seen with Venky in the well known hit ‘Adavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule’ is now being mustered up once again with the hero to play the lead cast.

"Billa"abroad to Bangkok

Billa was launched under much fanfare during Vijayadasami on 9th October. Socialites of the film fraternity were present in this event and the movie is fast growing with the canning of a song and chase sequence between 20 and 27 of October.

The next schedule starts from 7th of this month which will be made in Bangkok and Malaysia. News is during this time prominent sequences of the movie will be made featuring the lead cast.
